Health and Safety

The Directors and Management of Advance Tapes International Ltd are committed to providing a safe working environment for all company employees and visitors. This means that, as a minimum, the company will comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and other applicable regulations as set by the statutory authorities and such guidance requirements as apply to the organisation. In addition, as part of the company commitment to continuous improvement, the Management of the Company has set clear H&S objectives and is working towards achieving BS OHSAS 18001:2007 to an agreed timescale.

Environmental policy

The Senior Management understand their responsibility towards the Environment. The prevention of pollution is of prime importance to the company and the management recognises its obligation to meet, as a minimum standard, relevant environmental legislative requirements.

The company endeavours to operate and maintain its facilities in such a way as to eliminate wasteful practices and minimise environmental impact. Solvents are incinerated to minimise their impact on the environment. The company works with customers, suppliers and contractors to reduce negative environmental impact. The Company is a member of a Packaging Recycling Scheme and all packaging materials used comply with the various regulations. The Company looks to minimise waste and such waste, as is produced, is disposed of according to the relevant regulations.
