Adhesive Formulation
All adhesives are formulated or specified in house, giving Advance Tapes total control of the product design. Expertise extends to the type of adhesives that can be coated meaning that customer specific properties can be built into the final product. Advance Tapes has the capability to continuously develop adhesives either when environmental legislation dictates or when customers requirements change.
Coating
Advance Tapes has been coating adhesive for over 40 years. This has lead to an intimate knowledge of coating technology. Working with several different materials, Advance Tapes offers customers the option of both finished products and commission coating.
Converting
Advance can convert a wide variety of widths and lengths and has in-house facilities for converting tape into cut roll and adding value by wrapping, labelling and branding. Advance also works in partnership with specialist converters for customers that have special requirements.
Quality
As the first tape manufacturer to achieve the BS5750 quality standard in 1987, Advance Tapes has continued to ensure that quality is at the heart of everything it does. In its pursuit of excellence, Advance Tapes achieved the ISO9001 standard in 2004 and now carries out a rigorous, ongoing, internal auditing process that involves all employees meaning that quality is understood at every level.
