Plumbing & Gas

Advance Tapes is the recognised market leader in Gas Closure Plate Tape, having worked with British Gas to develop the PRS10 specification. It is a legal requirement that only a recognised Gas safe engineer can examine or repair a gas fire. They in turn should only be using controlled materials and Advance Tapes is keen to remind users that choosing tapes that are not approved for the specific application of sealing closure plates in the back of gas fires can be very dangerous. Any fumes, such as carbon monoxide, escaping from the back of the gas fire can be deadly. And as you can’t smell, see or taste it, it makes it even more important to use the PRS10 approved product, tested and used by registered gas installers since its introduction.
