Advance Tapes International Limited was founded in 1964 and has always been a specialist adhesive tape manufacturer.
Throughout the 1970's and 80's, Advance Tapes pioneered the use of specially manufactured types of fabric for cloth tapes. In 1986 Advance Tapes became the first tape company to gain BS5750 accreditation.
During the 1990's, Advance
Tapescompleted the build of a customised production facility for electrical
insulation and protection tapes. Today, Advance Tapes manufactures cloth,
PVC, foil, double-sided, polyethylene and paper tapes in the UK at two sites
in Leicester.
Technical expertise and
the continuous development of new products have helped Advance to supply adhesive
tapes conforming to the highly demanding specifications required by many specialist
industriesm such as transport, construction, entertainment and many more.
