History
Advance Tapes was founded in Leicester in 1964. The founding directors and their workforce quickly built up an excellent reputation for their products and service and were winning awards for export by the end of the 1960s.
In 1971 Advance Tapes France was formed with the opening of a sales and distribution centre at Meaux near Paris. This was followed in 1975 by the formation of Advance Tapes Deutschland GmbH and a further mainland European sales and distribution centre was opened at Kornwestheim near Stuttgart in Southern Germany.
