STOCK TECHNICIAN LEVEL B

Location: Leicester Immediate Start Advance is currently looking for a Stock Technician Level B to complete its stock team. Advance has two purpose designed manufacturing facilities sites, called Coating and Converting, and employs around 170 people. This role will be based in the Advance Coating site. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the monitoring of the process flow and materials movement between sites.
  • Managing stocks raw materials, intermediates and factored products that are received, and then record and store in the correct location in an accurate, safe and timely manner.
  • Completing the kitting of all machines.
  • Updating the stocks of all raw materials, intermediates and factored products by completing perpetual inventory checks.
  • Playing an active role in training and developing the Stock team

The successful candidate will have a previous experience in warehousing environment and stock management and the following skills and attributes:

  • A valid Balance and Reach forklift certificate is required for this role.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to train others
  • Well organised, reliable and extremely accurate
  • Health and safety focused
  • Computer literate and numerate

This role will be working on a 3 shift pattern, with appropriate shift allowances. COATING TECHNICIAN LEVEL A

Location: Leicester Immediate Start Advance is currently looking for a Coating Technician Level A to complete its operational team. Advance has two purpose designed manufacturing facilities sites, called Coating and Converting, and employs around 170 people.  This role will be based in the Advance Coating site. We’re looking for a professional, dynamic and motivated individual with ability to work alone and as part of a team. Day to day, the Coating Technician Level A will be responsible for:

  • To work on at least 2 complete coating/mixing processes, training on the machines will be given.
  • To assist in the identification, specification and testing of new coating equipment.
  • To identify processing and quality issues, propose corrective action and participate to its implementation.
  • To lead business improvements projects to improve the quality of product and service.
  • To train new staff in all roles within the cell.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in team based production processes. Excellent communication and self-organisation skills are required. The Coating Technician Level A will need to be reliable with a good attendance and punctuality work ethic. This role will be working on week 1 from Monday to Wednesday (6am to 6pm) and Thursday (6am to 2pm), on week 2 from Monday to Wednesday (6am to 6pm). And some 8 hours shift (6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm or 10pm to 6am). Flexibility between the patterns is desirable.
